Introduction Sahil was launched some six years ago as a trilingual (English / Urdu / Punjabi) monthly Magazine for the British Asian community. It has since developed wide circulation and is now also read in America, Canada, UAE, South Africa, India and Pakistan. Sahil promotes Arts and Culture. We publish creative works; the contributing authors being mainly scholars, literary persons such as poets, story writers, and Artists. Several other members of the community, such as Members of Parliament, social analysts and community workers also write for us. A number of women and young writers contribute their poetry and short stories to Sahil. Britain’s Asian community has successfully contributed through its arts, film, music, and particularly with its delicious food towards, cultural spectrum of United Kingdom. We support inter-faith dialogue, promote social understandings and encourage people to place their faith in Britain’s democratic system and liberal traditions.
